I met Uwe, one of three artists of the collective, in the 3Steps studio. Joachim joined later. Awarded as “Germany’s cultural and creative pilots” by the federal government, they have decisively shaped the cityscape over the past years.

Obey has caused a stir in the course of the election campaign during the US presidential election in 2008 with his iconic poster “HOPE” for Barack Obama.
